How to Use Time Tracker

No commands to learn — just talk to the bot like a colleague

Step 1 — Log Your Time

Send a direct message to the Time Tracker bot describing what you worked on and for how long. Use natural language — exactly as you would tell a colleague.

Example Messages

Worked on TMS for 2 hours

→ Logged as 2h under project TMS

Had call with client for Bizpostwiz project for 30 mins

→ Logged as 30m under Bizpostwiz, category: Meeting

Spent 30 mins on lunch

→ Logged as 30m under category: Break

Step 2 — Get Your Reports

Use one of the two slash commands to pull up your time logs whenever you need them.

Available Commands

/today_report

Shows a summary of all tasks and time logged today. Entries are grouped by project and category so you can see exactly where your time went.

/weekly_report

Generates a downloadable Excel file with your full week's time entries. The file includes a breakdown by project, category, and day — ready to share or archive.

How Smart Categorization Works
Project Work

Messages mentioning a project name are logged under that project automatically.

"Worked on TMS for 2 hours"

Meetings & Calls

Words like "call", "meeting", or "client" are detected and categorized accordingly.

"Had call with client for 30 mins"

Breaks & Other

Lunch, breaks, and non-project activities are separated into their own category.

"Spent 30 mins on lunch"
